Observation Requests (not connected with formal student teaching)

Alternative Certification Candidates (i.e., Region XI Program, ECAP Program) or current college or university students requiring classroom observation hours must complete the following steps in requesting permission to observe in Mansfield ISD.

• Complete and submit the Observation Request Registration Form
• Complete and submit the Criminal History Authorization Form
  Note: Please click the submit button on the botton of the form once you have completed the form and type your name and date information.

• Email the following documents to sneedv@mansfieldisd.org:

• Acceptance letter from an alternative program describing the observation request requirement of the program OR

• The course syllabus describing required observation hours

An Observation Clearance Form with campus assignment will be emailed once the approval has been granted.

• Candidates are then able to contact the assigned campus to schedule observation times.
• A Picture ID and the Observation Clearance Form must be shown to the campus upon reporting for observation.
