Mansfield ISD is making the following adjustment to the Tuesday, January 27, 2009 schedule:
Today
- All Parents are welcome to pick-up students any time from any campus for the remainder of the day.
- Middle Schools - All middle schools (Grades 7-8) will release students at 1:30 PM including bus transportation.* Students who walk or ride the bus should arrive home approximately two hours earlier than a normal day. Middle school staff will stay on campus through regular release time in order to stay with students without early release arrangements.
- Elementary, Intermediate, and High School - All other campuses (Grades K-6 and 9-12) are on a regular schedule with buses operating on normal route times.*
- MISD Administration will close today at 3:30 PM.
Tonight
- All evening events are canceled.
- The Regular School Board Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed until tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28.
- All student activities and staff recognitions scheduled for tonight's Board Meeting will be rescheduled for the February Regular Board Meeting.
Tomorrow
- No determination has been made on a schedule adjustment for Wednesday, January 28.
*The regular Middle School schedule includes a 4:00 PM dismissal. The above adjustment to transportation is the necessary option in order to get the students home safely and limit the number of buses on the road after dark.
