6th Grade Parent Night
On Tuesday, February 10, at 6:30 PM, Mansfield ISD middle school counselors will hold a 6th Grade Parent Night to discuss middle school requirements and more to parents and students.
The middle school counselors/administrators will explain this information to parents and students at their Parent Information Program on Tuesday, February 10th, at 6:30 PM. ( Please Note: Due to a scheduling conflict, Brooks Wester Middle School’s program will be held on February 17 @ 6:30 p.m. ) Please note the following sites for each middle school.
James L. Coble Middle School – Cafeteria
T. A. Howard Middle School – Cafeteria
Danny Jones Middle School – Cafeteria
Brooks Wester Middle School – Willie Pigg Auditorium (February 17 @ 6:30 PM, see note above)
Rogene Worley Middle School – Cafeteria
Linda Jobe Middle School – Since the administration and staff for MISD’s newest middle school has not yet been hired, parents are encouraged to attend the Parent Information Program at the middle school where their student would have attended prior to construction of the new middle school.
6th Grade Orientation Sessions
During the week of February 9–13, the middle school counselors will conduct orientation sessions at the district’s five intermediate schools. The purpose of these orientation sessions is to familiarize intermediate with middle school requirements, attendance regulations, and special program requirements. The counselors will also help students make preliminary course decisions for his/her 7th grade year.
