Thank you for visiting the mathematics curriculum web page. We are under construction. We began the process of re-writing our mathematics curriculum for grades 5-8, Algebra I, geometry, mathematical models and Algebra II last spring. In this curriculum writing process we updated our Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), vocabulary, and added an assessment item to reflect how each student expectation could be tested on a standardized test. We are going to continue the process this fall working on vertical alignment, specificity (careful thoroughness of detail), instructional strategies and resources. Thank you for your patience while we work to create a guaranteed viable curriculum for our teachers and students.
